"'Good News' programme has been a great success"

On behalf of Haynes Ford in Maidstone, I am pleased to confirm that our Experience-GB 'Good News' programme has been a great success.

We sent 494 letters after just three days, 134 customers have made contact with us, either by 'phone or by visiting the dealership, representing 27% of those mailed.

This is a considerably higher response rate than we would expect to achieve from a conventional mailer.

An excellent 33 confirmed appointments have been made, leading to six vehicles already being sold to date, with more to follow over the coming days.

Your people have been unfailingly positive and supportive, which has given our sales teams the confidence to maximise each customer contact opportunity.

One key benefit for us has been the confirmation that, even in the face of the 'credit crunch', there are always opportunities to close more business for dealers that are prepared to try a little harder.
