"It was a pleasure"
I firstly became aware of Experience GB through a phone call from Joy Ashton, their marketing manager based in the United Kingdom. She was so professional on the phone that I made an appointment for Andrew Batts, the Director of Experience-GB and Joint President of Experience-GB/USA and his business partner, Diane Taylor, Joint President of Experience-GB/USA.
Andrew and Diane arrived and gave us a brief overview of their program. Once we agreed on the dates we would run the programme they went to work immediately. After mailing all the letters they trained our reception and sales staff for the incoming calls. They answered the first two day’s calls themselves while our salespeople observed how they handled the call and got the appointments.
Here's how the numbers have worked out so far: Last week they sent out just over only 800 letters which resulted in almost 100 phone calls in the first two days, they set up 21 appointments and our sales staff made an additional five appointments from residual calls that came in after Diane and Andrew had left. More than half of the people who made appointments have either kept or rescheduled. We have delivered one car and are actively working deals with 6 of our appointments.
I am delighted with the results that this letter has generated. I was very pleased with the unique way in which Diane and Andrew handled the calls. But, perhaps the best part of the program is that by mailing to such a small portion of our customer base this is something we will be able to repeat in a few months with a different group of customers.
